I am NOT a shopaholic. Or at least, not anymore.

Gone are the days when I used to splurge and shop and waste money on things just because they look “pretty”. Okay, so maybe I spend too much on Starbucks, but that’s coffee. And coffee for me is staple. Like water, or clothes, or shampoo.

Anyway I shop less now.

It’s probably because I’m more… er, careful with my earnings. I’m trying to save up cash so I can get my own apartment by next year.

And it’s also probably because I’ve got an ├╝ber-practical boyfriend, who is more scroogey than I am. Who I love to death, but who scoffs everytime I buy Toffee Nut Latte (“Ang mahal naman nyan!”).

His influence is starting to rub off on me. deym.

Still, it’s nearly Christmas. And I’ve been nice this year, so I deserve a special treat. Much as I want to believe in Santa, I’m sure he won’t be able to get me what I want.
