Today, I feel:

  • Disappointed. How come Ron Howard manages to screw up Dan Brown’s novels’ movie adaptations? He f*cked up the Da Vinci Code and now he ruined Angels and Demons (which, I enjoyed reading). He left out plenty of good parts. I didn’t even feel the clash between religion and science, which was the whole point of the story. Grrr.

Truth be told, our anniversary was anything but mushy. We got up, went to work, had breakfast together, finished our tasks and quota, and left the workplace. Afterwards, we had this fabulous dinner at one of the coziest restos I know, Fat Michael’s Place in Makati. There, that was it. Short, simple, sweet.

Months ago, I remember planning our anniversary with the boyfriend. There were talks of Sagada, beaches, Baguio, and other out-of-town destinations we’d like to go to celebrate. But, after the boyfriend lost 3K and his ATM when his wallet was stolen last month, I promised him we could reschedule our anniversary trip plans.

We opted to celebrate it here.

I’ve been craving frozen desserts lately. Funny, since the weather these past few weeks has been rainy and cold. My mind must still be in summer mode, even if the sky isn’t.

A couple of weeks ago, I dragged the boyfriend to get gelato from Amici. I got sansrival, he got mango. Was good, but not exactly satisfying. “Mas masarap pa ang Kapalaran Ice Cream,” he complained (LOL).

Last week, I convinced him to go to Red Mango for frozen yogurt. I’ve been dying to chow on yogurt since we had it at Yoghurt Froz.

Yogurt Froz. This one has cereal, strawberries and cheese.
